Welcome to my website! This is something I’ve wanted to do for a while. I’m a wife, mom of two, wellness coach, entrepreneur, and stage 4 metastatic breast cancer thriver. After my cancer recurrence, I retired from my career as a nonprofit CEO with an organization that I spent most of my adult life working for. That was a challenge all in itself but it was the best decision I made to focus on my health. The first week off I probably spent 40 hours researching my cancer and ways to heal my body. Since I live in rural WI I am limited to standard-of-care treatments and if they worked on their own then I wouldn’t still have cancer. I did decide to do some conventional treatments because I saw the benefit in them and we needed to stop the cancer from progressing. So I started contacting integrative cancer clinics across the US. Considering I was also healing two compressed vertebrae in my back I didn’t want to travel and I also wasn’t ready to leave my kids and husband for an extended period.
One of my friends gave me a book called Radical Remission: Surviving Cancer Against All Odds by Kelly A. Turner PhD. I couldn’t put the book down. It was filled with success stories of people healing their bodies from cancer. It was exactly what I wanted and needed to hear. Cancer is multifaceted and in my opinion, to heal your body you need to find the root causes which takes time so, I chose to focus on what I could control. First I changed my diet based on my research and the metabolic phenotype of Estrogen Receptor Positive cancer’s pathway is OXHPOS which means it feeds on glucose. I started eating a ketogenic diet. This means I would eat primarily healthy fats, plant protein or 3-4 oz animal protein, and half a plate of cruciferous vegetables for each meal. I also started intermittent fasting. I would not eat for 14-16 hours a day and eventually would fast for 24 hours once per week. Fasting helps your body heal and there are so many benefits that come with it. I slept better and had more energy and lost the weight I gained while I was healing my broken back. I started working on the 9 pillars from Radical Remission:

- Increasing positive emotions

- Having strong reasons for living
As I continued searching I found a Doctor in Florida that I worked remotely with for one year. He had an online learning portal, I took many supplements and a few repurposed drugs. The goal of the program was to starve the cancer from every angle possible. Dr Wei’s program is called AntiCancer 360. During this year I found various clinics that I could drive to for hyperbaric oxygen therapy, ozone therapy, ozone iv’s, high dose vitamin c iv’s, acupuncture, frequency healing, and emotional healing. I plan to share more about all of these resources located in Central and Northern WI in future blogs.
